In commemoration of Shakespeare’s 400th Anniversary, S.I.T.F.E. organized this event which invited actors, writers and directors who had worked on Shakespeare’s texts. Local theatre director Ganesh Kasi was invited to share his directing experience of OTHELLO that was staged in Tamil in 2015. Writer Dr. Elavazhagan joined us to share his experience in translating TITUS ANDRONICUS in Tamil that was staged as THONDAN. A short clip of P.KRISHNAN’s Macbeth, which was staged by Ravindran Drama Group under the direction of Vadi PVSS, was also shown. The highlight video of OTHELLO was also shown.
