Some celebrations need no confetti, champagne or parties at expensive restaurants, for they are deep, personal, soulful, silent and even life changing. No matter how hard life might hit us, one should always find some ways to celebrate something. In this second instalment of Solo/Oray Aal, we invite you to witness six monologues that will unpack stories of celebration.

A Tamil street theatre production based on the hidden stories of four streets in Little India.

SOLO, which is also known as ORAY AAL in Tamil, is a bilingual theatre production that consists of six monologues in total – 3 in Tamil and 3 in English. The theme for 2021’s SOLO/ORAY AAL was FIGHT.

THUYIL (Sleep in Tamil) is a 1.2hr theatre production on sleep and sleep related issues faced by Singaporeans.
